About our Fund

We seek to invest primarily in small cap and microcap businesses in developed markets around the world that meet our ESG criteria. The Fund will not invest in businesses engaged in certain activities, including fossil fuel production, gambling or the production of alcohol and tobacco, among others. For a full list of exclusions and their associated revenue thresholds, please see the Responsible Investment Policy. Beyond simply avoiding companies engaged in certain business activities, where possible, we will invest in companies that are actively ‘doing good’ by contributing to one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (‘SDGs’).

The Value Earth Fund fuses the objective of upholding environmental, social and governance principles, with a value approach to growing profitable businesses. We think those qualities are not antithetical but rather highly complementary. They help to serve each other. Sustainable profitability will increasingly encompass sustainability principles aligned to our earth, society and good governance

Featured Investments

  • Tomra Systems ASA creates sensor-based solutions used to improve recycling and waste operations, as well as food sorting. The Collection business sells reverse vending machine technology, used for collecting beverage containers. The Recycling business sells machinery used for material recovery in household and commercial waste, as well as mining operations. The Food segment sells machines used to sort and grade foods, as well as eliminating undesirable materials. Tomra is headquartered in Norway, and generated revenue of 14.8b NOK in 2023. Tomra is actively seeking to make the world a better place by helping drive towards a more circular economy by improving material use and reuse.
